He seeks the assuring words of a mentor to guide him through the creative process of getting his venture from drawing board to the market. Without the timely help of an experienced mentor, many such ideas and their creators either just remain in the dark or just burn out along the way giving no benefit to society.
It is for this very purpose of mentoring a budding entrepreneur that Dr. Shri Thanedar with wife Shashi envisioned and started The Thanedar Foundation. Dr. Shri Thanedar, the chairman of Chemir analytics and Azopharma product development group represents the story of a man from modest background in India who has fought the fights and overcame life’s biggest challenges to become a successful entrepreneur. He heads a group of companies with revenues exceeding 60 million USD and provides employment to hundreads. With a wish to share his life’s learning and helping budding entrepreneurs, The Thanedar Foundation was born.
The Thanedar Foundation has a two pronged focus. It's mission is to

The Thanedar Foundation was setup by Dr.Shri Thanedar and his wife Shashi Thanedar. Both of them are actively involved in running the foundation.
There are many ways to describe Shri. As an immigrant, a philanthropist, an entrepreneur, a successful business man or a connoisseur of art and music. His life is an inspirational story about starting from scratch and achieving the zenith of success while coping with adversities. Shri's story begins in Southern India where he grew up. He came to the United States, completed his PhD and bought his first company for $75,000. Today Shri is successful entrepreneur in the Unites States heading a group of companies with revenues more than $60 million. He is chairman of Azopharma Contract Services and Chemir Analytical Services. His companies together employ over 390 people including 75 PhD chemists.

The portal intends to introduce artists from India to the Marathi audience in USA. It also intends to provide a platform for linking teachers of performing arts with students spread across USA.
